touch up paint for xpress boat
I have a 04 x18 and need to touch up boat and trailer. they both are the same color... red. does anyone know what color red is the xpress red? maybe a cross reference ppg or dupont ect... maybe someone would know which paint manufactor they use? thanks. I have a xpress x-70, and it is 4 years old. the previous owner was veryhard the boat, causing lots of scratches down to the aluminum. my question is what is the best way to fix ? i am not sure where to start, i have a friend who does touch-up/body work on cars, and he is willing to help me. he asked what kind of paint is used on xpress, and if there is a clear coat.. Bought a brand new hyper-lift bay boat, and the paint is peeling badly underneath (and starting up the sides). dealer says i have to un-rig the hull, then they will send back to xpress, and after a 3-4 month wait i'll get it back and have to re-rig.
