A water-jet drive is a propulsion system capable of generating great speed by shooting a stream of water astern. applications. these systems are used in high-speed boats. technologies. such drives pump water at great velocity through a nozzle pointing astern, propelling the boat forward.. I have a brand new jacuzzi brothers 12jy jet drive still in it's packing material for sale. why pay $3,500 for a jet drive assembly when you can have this never installed but 25 year old unit for far less. jets haven't changed much over the years-all they are is a high volume pump and nozzle system.. Recent participation in the home built jet drive boat 3d printed thread got me thinking how interesting it would be to design a jet drive that people could download the plans for to use for printing their own pump. and while i have plenty of ideas,.
