Rigging is a significant part of the process of building a model ship. it can be tedious and time-consuming however putting the effort in adds to the beauty of your finished model. in general, the instructions on rigging provided by the manufacturers of model ship kits are fairly sparse.. Ever since i was an avid model-maker as a kid, and now a game modeler as an adult, i have been fascinated by sailing ship models and ships in bottles. the fact that people take the time to meticulously model all of the rope and rigging on a ship model has always been so impressive to me.. Syren ship model company supplies miniature rope for rigging ship models. you will find many sizes available in tan, light brown, and dark brown colors. a tan rigging line for un-tarred rope and dark brown for tarred rigging is shown in the photos. scale rope is packaged in 20 foot lengths (6 meters). this rigging line will not unravel..
