We are an association of enthusiasts with a shared passion for wooden boats. within that general definition our members represent a broad range of boats and special interests encompassing - boats ranging from 100 years old to those barely begun. boats powered by sail, steam, diesel, oars or paddles.. The victorian wooden boat centre is a place of learning, community and fun. we see it as our mission to nurture individual's interest in wooden boat building and love nothing more than supporting those with an interest in a craft.. The wooden boat association was formed in 1989 for people who enjoy wooden boats and wooden boat building. members appreciate wooden boats for their aesthetic qualities, the beauty of the boats and the materials from which they are constructed, and the pure romance of wooden boats.. 
victorian wooden boat association We meet monthly and sponsor or participate in a number of in-the-water shows and events. we welcome owners of wooden boats and classic glass boats to our group. but even if you don't own a boat, and you're sincerely interested in antique and classic boats, join us! boat ownership is not required..
